01 ABOUT
FERIADO (Holiday), my debut feature, premiered at the 64th Berlinale in 2014, after receiving the Tribeca Film Institute's narrative Voces Award in 2012. My second feature, AGUJERO NEGRO (Black Hole), premiered at BAFICI in Buenos Aires in 2018.
In 2019, I directed the music video TALISA for Italian composer Daniele Luppi, featuring Karen-O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and in 2022, I edited the single YOU NEVER LOVED, by Luppi and Greg Gonzalez (Cigarettes After Sex).

I am currently based in Oslo, developing my third feature, called FANGO.

In development
FANGO is a horror film set in the Ecuadorian mangrove forest that will be produced by New York-based Zero Chill, producers of Netflix Vampire Vs The Bronx.

2019
TALISA
I directed this music video as an homage to Antonioni's BLOW UP for the single TALISA from the album MILANO by Italian Daniele Luppi and the American band Parquet Courts, featuring Karen-O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
2018
AGUJERO NEGRO (BLACK HOLE) premiered at BAFICI in Buenos Aires in 2018. The off-beat romantic comedy went on to play its round of festivals, including the Montreal World Film Festival, the Kolkata Film Festival in India and La Mostra in Sao Paulo, Brasil. It was the Ecuadorian selection for the Spanish Goya Awards and it received the Audience Award at the 5th FLAC-Q and the Quito Municipal Award Agustín Cuesta Ordóñez for Best Film Production of the year .
2014
FERIADO (HOLIDAY) was the first Ecuadorian film to premiere at the Berlinale in 2014. The film went on to play at more than 70 festivals, including New York Lincoln Center's Latin Beat, Frameline in San Francisco, Festival de cine de Huelva, Bergen International Film Festival, and Rio de Janeiro. It won the Heineken-VOCES Award from the Tribeca Film Institute. HOLIDAY was distributed in 22 countries and represented Ecuador at the Spanish Goya Awards.
